At Healthify, we understand that going to a Doctor’s office isn’t at the top of the list when you’re not feeling well. With the practical and utterly convenient adoption of telemedicine (virtual visits), we can meet virtually and do our best to help.
Specific requests require an in-person visit; we can’t collect a saliva sample for a genetic test or do a swab test for strep throat over the phone. As a mobile clinic, we can come to you.
Everyone is welcome to experience convenient, compassionate, and fantastic care!
Our Services
It’s challenging to write an exhaustive list of everything we are able to provide. If you’re interested in receiving care or treatment for something other than what is listed below, please get in touch with us and inquire. If you request or are referred for lab work (blood tests) or imaging, these services are performed by Intermountain Health in St. George, Utah. Any lab and imaging fees incurred will be paid directly to Intermountain Health by the patient. Intermountain Health accepts insurance or offers a cash-pay discount for orders from Healthify.
Primary Care
As a mobile healthcare clinic, we offer various primary care services to meet your healthcare needs. Our family nurse practitioners are equipped to provide services that mirror standard primary care clinics, including preventive care, health screenings, and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses. Our clinic offers physical exams, blood tests, and basic lab work (all labs are sent to Intermountain Health for processing and will incur costs independent from Healthify) to help you stay healthy and detect potential health problems early.
In addition, we offer management and treatment for a variety of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
BOTOX® Injections
On the cosmetic side, Botox (botulinum toxin) injections can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, providing a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. We offer mobile Botox injections where we come to you and perform an assessment and injections.
Botox injections have therapeutic uses, including the treatment of migraines. By targeting specific muscles in the head and neck, Botox injections can help reduce the frequency and severity of migraines, providing relief for those who suffer from this debilitating condition. Botox injections have been shown to be safe and effective for both cosmetic and therapeutic purposes.
Pharmacogenomics Testing
Pharmacogenomic testing is an advanced type of genetic testing that can provide patients with valuable information about how their body metabolizes over 100 of the most commonly-prescribed medications. By analyzing your genome (your body’s blueprint), pharmacogenomic testing can identify how quickly the body breaks down certain medications, affecting how medications work in your body. This knowledge can help you, and your healthcare providers make informed decisions about which medications to prescribe and which dosage is the best option for you.
This knowledge can help reduce the risk of adverse drug reactions and side effects, as well as improve the effectiveness of medications. Pharmacogenomic testing is a non-invasive process that requires only a simple swab of the cheek, making it a painless and easy way to gain valuable insights into a patient's unique genetic makeup. If you're looking to optimize your medication regimen and improve your overall health and wellness, pharmacogenomic testing may be right for you.
Sports Physicals
A sports physical, also known as a pre-participation physical examination (PPE), is a medical exam that is designed to evaluate an individual's overall health and fitness level before participating in sports or other physical activities. During a sports physical, a healthcare provider will typically measure height, weight, and blood pressure, as well as evaluate the individual's heart, lungs, ears, nose, throat, and abdomen. The provider may also check for any current or past medical conditions that could impact an individual's ability to participate in sports safely. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive evaluation designed to ensure that you are healthy enough to participate in sports or other physical activities safely.
What to watch for
Recent publications highlight the need for the management of chronic conditions and diseases. A focus on caring for acute injuries typically feels like a priority for most Americans, but we don’t recommend deferring annual screening visits or avoiding lab work. We can often find the source of what may appear to be an acute illness and diagnose an underlying chronic condition. Three severe medical conditions to be aware of are:
Hypertension: High blood pressure affects approximately 1 in 4 adults in the United States and is a leading cause of heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease. Family care providers should check their patient's blood pressure regularly and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and medications to help manage blood pressure.
Hyperlipidemia: High cholesterol levels are a significant risk factor for heart disease, the leading cause of death in the United States. Family care providers should check their patients' cholesterol levels regularly and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and medications to help manage cholesterol levels.
Obesity: Obesity is a significant health problem in the United States, affecting approximately 2 in 3 adults. Obesity is a risk factor for many health problems, including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and certain cancers. Family care providers should help their patients understand the importance of maintaining a healthy weight and provide guidance on healthy eating habits, physical activity, and weight loss strategies.
